Trump on \”history\’s darkest hour\”

We traditional Southerners are a Christian people, and as such, we seek to honor our God in every way. This includes discerning the truth–and lies–of history, the unfolding of His Providence.

Today President Donald Trump gave an address at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s National Days of Remembrance. In his remarks, he called the Holocaust \”history\’s darkest hour.\”

But he is wrong. History\’s darkest hour came some 2,000 years ago when the blameless Galilean, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was crucified at the behest of the very people we have been told are history\’s most pitiable \”victims.\” And because of this, Judas Iscariot, an Esau-Edomite Jew and the betrayer of our Lord, is history\’s most vile individual criminal by a long shot, despite what the history books may have taught you. But he is also representative of the entire \”synagogue of Satan.\” (Rev. 2:9 and Rev. 3:9 KJV)

When Pilate saw that the Jews were determined to crucify Christ, he \”washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.\” (Matt. 27:24 KJV). And so the Jews did see to it, the greatest crime in the history of mankind. \”Then answered all the people [Esau-Edomite Jews], and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.\” (Matt. 27:25 KJV).

Mr. Trump and others of his ilk can ignore the Word of the living God at their own peril. As for my house, we shall serve the Lord. And we shall seek, and speak, the truth.
