Distribution Practices
Practice for distribution are limited only by your imagination and the law. Use all legal practices to distribute The Free Magnolia.
Some effectual areas to consider for distribution:
- Local events and farmers market
- Local hardware and feed stores
- Local grocery stores
- Community centers
- Outdoor clubs and associations
Tips for approaching distribution areas
- Be sure to use positive language such as:
- “I’d like you to have…”
- “Allow me to share a…”
- “Please take a…”
- At locations, ask to display on the counter or in a prominent place where The Free magnolia is visible to customers
- Initially leave a small stack , [15-25] of The Free Magnolia
- Check back to see if The Free Magnolia has been placed as requested
- Offer to replenish The Free Magnolia in person at some manageable interval
- Keep track of the most successfully participated locations
- With each new issue of The Free Magnolia, redistribute to those locations
