As Chief of The League of the South, I want to assure our members and supporters that their safety and well-being are our top priorities during this Coronavirus pandemic crisis. At present, we are doing more than simply \”monitoring\” the situation. We are actively making plans and raising funds to help our members who are in financial straits, and we are moving ahead with our plans for upcoming events, including our 2020 national conference in late June. Moreover, our national office remains open and functioning on a day to day basis, as do our various State chapters. We are preparing the next issue of The Free Magnolia for publication as well.
For years we have encouraged our members, and indeed all serious nationalists, to prepare for events just like this. Now, many of our people have laid in supplies to get them through weeks, if not months, of shortages. They have developed skills to take care of themselves, their families, and their friends and neighbors, should need arise. And the need has arisen and will continue to do so.
As others continue to panic and lose their heads in these unusual and difficult times, we ask our League of the South members to remain calm, use common sense, and go about your lives as normally as possible. Do not give in to fear or wild \”conspiracy theories.\” Do, however, pay attention and learn from your observations, especially about events and occurrences in your own Area of Operations.
In times such as these, the leaders of The League are willing to step forward and actually lead. We have always considered ourselves to be an extended family in the true sense of the term. It is now time for us to behave in such a manner. In order to aid and assist our own, we should spare no sacrifice or effort. It is times likes these that separate the warriors from the pretenders. We will do our duty to our people and our noble cause of Southern survival, well-being, and independence. May God bless and protect us all.
Michael Hill, LS Chief
